Canvassing through the songs, we had many that touched our ears, mind and heart :) .Many we have posted and many to come.It was a thorough experience where we met melody ,sargam, raga, in short, music.
To all the lovers of real music, we promise to provide the same this year. For any request on any song/movie, we will be happy to help.We hope you enjoy each post with the same passion as we post it.Enough said ....
"Babu mosai" I say and the whole story of an ailing man living life to the fullest, spreading happiness ,joy and infusing life comes to our mind. He is none but Rajesh Khanna . He got his first break after winning 1965, All India Talent Contest organised by United Producers and Filmfare. A charismatic personality he was and with movies like Khamoshi, Anand, Bawarchi, Kati Patang, Amar Prem, etc he carved a niche be it romance or a social awakening. Many happy returns of the day to Kaka.
Please dont be overwhelmed for...."Pushpa ,I hate tears " :)

kabhi yunhin, jab huyi, bojhal saansen
bhar aayi baithe baithe, jab yuhin aankhen
kabhi yunhin, jab huyi, bojhal saansen
bhar aayi baithe baithe, jab yuhin aankhen
tabhi machal ke, pyaar se chal ke
chhuye koyi mujhe par nazar na aaye, nazar na aaye
kahin door jab din dhal jaye
saanjh ki dulhan badan churaaye chupake se aaye
kahin to ye dil kabhi mil nahin paate
kahin se nikal aaye ,janmon ke naate
kahin to ye dil kabhi mil nahin paate
kahin se nikal aaye janmon ke naate
hai meethi uljhan, bairi apna mann
apna hi hoke sahe dard paraaye, dard paraaye
kahin door jab din dhal jaye
saanjh ki dulhan badan churaaye chupake se aaye
dil jaane mere saare bhedh ye gahare
ho gaye kaise mere sapne sunahare
dil jaane mere saare bhedh ye gahare
ho gaye kaise mere sapne sunahare
ye mere sapane yahi to hain apne
mujhase juda na honge inke ye saaye, inke ye saaye
kahin door jab din dhal jaye
saanjh ki dulhan badan churaaye chupake se aaye mere Khayaalon ke aangan mein
koi sapno ke deep jalaaye, deep jalaaye kahin door jab din dhal jaye
Ramanand Sagar: A name ,once heard in every Indian household. The man who halted every household chores on weekends especially 9AM and glued them to the TV watching the epic mythology series of Krishna,Ramayana and many more. This extended even to children with the adventures of Sindbad in Alif Laila.(ohh I miss it..). He was one reason that TV became a part of most houses. A tribute to the genius who bought the Indian heritage to every home. Happy Birthday :)

* - i hope you understand the meaning of "Ekaant".. Although I have written "solitude", it has no negative meaning as in "loneliness" and means more like privacy of the couple.
