A beautiful song from the movie "Gumnaam" where seven people try to survive in an stranded place with the hilarious Mehmood as butler. The song is melodious after the haunting music that preludes it :) Beautiful Nanda and charming Manoj Kumar adds to the beauty of the song.
जननी जन्मभूमिश्च स्वर्गादपि गरीयसी "Mother and motherland are superior to the Heaven."
This is a bengali song penned by Nachiketa about the present tragedy where the progeny leave their parents at old age homes. Its a light verse which relates a parent's present scenario in a satirical tone, his reminiscence of his love towards his son and finally he expresses his desire of revenge in a playful tone.
