The movie directed by Amarjeet in 1961, was a romantic drama. Most notably, the music of this movie has been the most popular and continues to be so even today. The plot exhibits the love, loyalty, courage, the puzzling situations life can pose and strength in difficult times. The acting of Dev Anand, Sadhna, Nanda does perfect justice to these effects.
In brief, the plot consists of an army man who has to face a complication in his love life owing to his resemblance to a friend of his. He almost loses his credibility, his friend and his true love after having lost his mother. But his strength, determination and honesty gains him it all back. Very inspirational indeed!
